Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 4 April 2026

1. What Web Accessibility Means

An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other users. This can be achieved through the capabilities of the user’s system, assistive technologies, and thoughtful website design.

2. Our Commitment to Accessibility

Rawi Fitness is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. This commitment aligns with our obligations under the Equality Act 2010, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage when accessing services, including websites and digital content

Our goal is to provide a website experience that is inclusive and user-friendly, enabling all users - including those with disabilities - to access content with a similar level of ease and enjoyment.

We aim, where reasonably practicable, to make our website conform to the standards set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

3. Accessibility Features of This Website

To improve accessibility across our site, we have implemented a range of adaptations, including:

Where applicable, we aim to provide accessible alternatives for media content, such as captions, transcripts or alternative formats.

We periodically review our website using a combination of automated tools and manual checks, including keyboard navigation and, where reasonably practicable, assistive technology testing such as NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) and VoiceOver.

4. Scope and Limitations

Third-Party Content
At present, there is no third-party embedded content on our website (e.g. maps, video players, booking widgets) that is outside our control. If this changes in the future, we will update this section accordingly.

Physical Accessibility (Mobile Personal Training)

As a mobile personal training service, we may discuss reasonable adjustments, accessibility arrangements or the involvement of a support person where appropriate and where it is safe and reasonably practicable to do so.

Our current accessibility arrangements include:
-
Location flexibility: Sessions can be held in accessible indoor gyms (subject to trainer access), private homes, or public/private spaces with step-free access and safe surfaces.
-
Client-led selection: Clients are encouraged to choose or agree with Rawi Fitness locations they find comfortable and accessible. We are happy to advise on wheelchair-accessible or mobility-friendly venues.
-
Home visits: In-home sessions can be adapted to individual spaces and needs. Clients are responsible for ensuring their home environment is safe and accessible. We may discuss reasonable adjustments, accessibility arrangements or the involvement of a support person where appropriate and where it is safe and reasonably practicable to do so.
-
Communication support: All communication can be provided in alternative formats on request, including large print, visual summaries, or audio formats.
-
Inclusive training methods: Sessions can be adapted as reasonably and practicably possible for a range of physical, sensory, or cognitive needs, focusing on comfort, safety, and empowerment.
-
Accessible booking and support: Clients can request assistance or book sessions via phone, email, or messaging. Our aim is to make this process straightforward and accessible.

Please also note: For sessions in public or outdoor spaces, physical elements like parking or restrooms are the client’s responsibility. Rawi Fitness may be able to assist with this.

We may ask for further information, reasonable supporting evidence or medical clearance where necessary to assess whether our services can be provided safely and appropriately. We may also request the involvement of a parent, guardian, carer, attorney or other authorised representative where a person is under 18, vulnerable or may lack capacity.
